    Along the Cam Le River past temples, cemeteries and villages.

  2. Hill 55

    A former wartime training area, with the guide on its history.

  3. Hai Van Pass

    The winding coast road over the pass, with photo stops and a break at the summit.

  4. Lang Co lagoon

    Down the far side to ride round the lagoon, then back over the pass towards Da Nang.

  5. Lunch in Da Nang

    A local restaurant.

  6. Monkey Mountain

    A forest road up to about 700 m with coastal views and a chance of seeing red-shanked douc langurs, then back to base.

Questions people ask

Do I need a licence to ride myself?

Yes. HAMA asks for a motorbike licence from your home country plus an International Driving Permit with class A, and tests riders before the tour; the tour leader can refuse a rider. Without a licence, you ride on the back with one of their licensed drivers.

Is there a jeep option?

HAMA quotes jeep prices for this loop on request. Its one-way Hai Van Pass & Coast tour from Hoi An to Hue lists a jeep seat at 4,785,000 VND per person, based on two people per jeep, on the operator's page on 14 October 2026.

What happens if it rains, or if I cancel?

HAMA rides in all weather and supplies rain ponchos. If it cancels a tour and no new date works, it refunds in full. If you cancel within 24 hours of departure you pay the full price, and within a week, half. A 25% deposit is taken when you book.
