Tan Son Nhat International AirportTan Son Nhat SGN
Arrival assistance seen from US$19.15 to US$29.90 per person on 14 October 2026
Long Thanh is the new airport for Ho Chi Minh City in Dong Nai, due to start commercial flights in December 2026, with international flights moving across from Tan Son Nhat in phases through 2027.
Opens to commercial flights on 24 December 2026

Fast track is assistance, not a separate border: staff meet you, walk you to a priority counter where the airport allows it and help with the formalities. Nobody can promise how long immigration will take.
Long Thanh was not open to commercial flights on 14 Oct 2026, so there is no queue data. In the first phase, to March 2027, ACV expects Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet to run about 20 to 30 flights a day.
Tell us your flight number, arrival time and the number of travellers. We reply with what is available, the price and what it includes, before you pay anything.
The date has moved. The CAAV agreed to 1 Dec 2026, reported on 30 Sep 2026; on 5 Oct 2026 Nhan Dan reported that ACV now plans commercial operation from 24 Dec 2026. Check the current date with your airline before you travel.
Not yet. No seller listed fast track at Long Thanh when we checked on 14 Oct 2026. Sellers at other Vietnamese airports offer meet-and-assist to a priority counter, so check again nearer the opening.
Resolution 389/NQ-CP made Long Thanh an e-visa gate once it operates, but on 14 Oct 2026 evisa.gov.vn did not list it among the airports you can choose. Check the list again before you apply, since the e-visa limits you to the gates on your approval.
Under the CAAV plan, airlines may move international flights voluntarily until 27 Mar 2027, all long-haul international flights move from 28 Mar 2027, and the remaining international flights from 30 Oct 2027, except Vietnamese airlines' routes under 1,000 km.
